Sub Rosa is my everyday go-to serum, and I use the Midnight Oil when I need a lil extra healing magic. <3
I've been looking for ways to cut out all of the expensive, mass-produced serums and creams from my skincare routine because of how many fillers and artificial ingredients are included (and how much it all costs, yikes). I've been using the duo for a week now after cleansing and toning, and my skin has been way more balanced and actually stays hydrated throughout the day! The midnight oil can stain a little, so give it time to settle in before hitting your pillows.
I look forward to the ritual of putting the Sub Rosa on at night and the Midnight Oil on before bed. The scent and feel are so incredible. I love knowing how much care goes into creating these products and my skin clearly loves them!
I’ve been using sub Rosa for a while now and it is such an amazing product. It doesn’t feel heavy on your skin and it just gives you such a healthy dewy glow which means a lot to someone who has extremely dry skin naturally. With cooler weather and allergy season upon us I love to use this throughout the day to keep my cheeks and nose moisturized. But let’s talk about the real gem of this little duo; Midnight oil is AMAZING! I’m a mom so sleep and proper hydration just never seem to be in the cards for me no matter how hard I try. I put this oil on before bed and somehow in the morning there is no evidence of a sleep deprived mom! My skin feels rejuvenated and if I had any redness or irritation the day before it is GONE. I don’t think I could ever have these two missing from my skincare routine!
I love facial oils like these that absorb into the skin and feel like they actually DO something.
The Sub Rosa Oil has such a lovely, uplifting fragrance to kick off the day. It's hydrating and leaves my skin feeling soft. I have oily skin, so only 3-4 drops for me is perfect, meaning this bottle will last a long time. I also feel it reduces the dreaded "oil sheen" I get throughout the day that other oils and moisturizers have made worse.
The Midnight Oil has a lighter scent but is equally moisturizing and luxurious with a deeper nourishing feel. It gives your skin an orange tint when applied, but don't panic — it's not going to stain. The orange tint goes away as you rub it in and it hasn't come off on my pillowcase or anything.
These are both high quality oils that don't clog my pores and don't feel fake or cheap. Add one or both of them to your self-care routine immediately.
